Unfortunately, many have allowed it to destroy their home. Separation, distrust,
quarrel and divorce are the outcome of lack of financial wisdom in the home

Advise to couples about
money
- Line must be drawn between Domestic and Business Finances.
- Couples are one, money must not divide them.
- Plan your income and expenditure together.
- Plan your family along your financial capability (i.e. in your family planning).
- Discuss and deliberate on how to handle money.
- Avoid any action that breads suspicion over expenses.
- The availability of money should not provoke unnecessary demand.
- Money should be wisely invested where it can yield as the family union progresses desired dividends.
- When there is no money, couple should not behave as if money is their source of joy. They should live in love and understanding.
- Joint account is good, but if not fine – opening is encouraged on both sides
- No partiality in spending money on relations on both sides
- If the wife becomes the bread winner, she must not be proud-Bible passage (proverbs 13:10-30)
